Facilitation and Group Processes: 'El Camino del Elder'

Posted on February, 14 2015

From January 25 to February 6, we participated in a training in Facilitation called The Way of the Elder (El Camino del Elder) with Ulises Escorihuela, in El Manzano, Chile. The workshop is the first phase in Facilitation Training in the lineage of the Institute of Facilitation and Change Spain (IFACE), and it also incorporates elements of Ulises' vision and experience in project and personal development. We really enjoyed the experienced, and after visiting so many projects, we could easily identify the importance of good group facilitation for all of the projects, and especially communal projects. On the Road in Chile visiting Sustainable Communities and Projects!

Posted on December, 11 2014

The Sunrise lights up the valley and the mountains The gathering took place in the Pailimay EcoVillage in central Chile, close to San Fernando, but up in the mountains, where it feels like another world. The foothills of the Andes rise dramatically, and it’s a dynamic and energetic area, the perfect place for the gathering. ...

Chile: Projects, Communities, Workshops and … Dragon Dreaming!

Posted on March, 26 2014

Family! What a pleasure to be on the road! It’s been a great month and a half riding in Minhoca around Central Chile and getting to know the Chileans and some interesting projects here! We made a quick visit to the project BioUrbanizando, which works with urban organic farming and beekeeping in Santiago. Then we spent a few days with the Ecological Community "Blowing in the Wind," a “not intentional community” that has grown over the last 20 year in Reñaca Alta. ‘Blowing’ as it’s called locally is a really nice place that is home to over 20 families in a type of "green neighborhood." All the houses are built with natural materials, ...
